Volunteer Needs & Roles
Drivers
The biggest volunteer need is for drivers. Veterans need to have reliable transportation to get them to and from the rally point and airport on flight day. This is a vital role as not all veterans have a go-to family member to provide transportation.
Event Support
We love that family and friends come out to cheer for our heroes on their big day. Event support includes Meet & Greet, Flight Day send off and welcome home, as well as other events throughout the year. It takes many people to help ensure our Veterans have the trip of a lifetime.
Finding Veterans
There are still veterans out there that don’t know about Honor Flight or maybe need to hear about it from the right person. Whether it be in the aisles of your local ShopRite or out at a community event, we are always looking for veterans.
