Veterans from World War II, Korean War, Cold War and Vietnam will depart on Hudson Valley Honor Flight’s Mission 34 to Washington D.C. All are invited to honor our heroes and give them the send-off and welcome home that many of them never received but so rightfully deserve. The send-off ceremony and welcome home reception will both be held in the baggage claim area of the main terminal. There will be 83 veterans on this flight. Of them, 1 is a World War II veteran; 3 are Korean War veterans; 1 served in both Korea and Vietnam, 5 are Cold War veterans, 2 served during both the Cold War and Vietnam; and 70 are Vietnam/Vietnam era veterans.
