OC Highway Superintendents Association donate $20,000 to Honor Flight
NEW WINDSOR — Potholes, bridges, snow plowing. These are some of the things that are top priority to the local highway departments. But above all this is giving to charity, particularly Hudson Valley Honor Flight.
On Oct. 16 at Temple Hill Tavern in New Windsor, members of the Orange County Highway Superintendents Association, their vendors and others from local municipalities gathered together for their Fall Luncheon and to present a very special donation to Hudson Valley Honor Flight.
While pictures from the recent Orange County Honor Flight Mission was cast onto one of the walls in the banquet hall, James “Pat”Patterson of the Town of Highlands Highway Department and President of the Association, greeted guests and continued to inform everyone that out of all the Associations, they are one of the most successful ones. All should be very proud.
