Flight Day for Hudson Valley Veterans

We're so glad you're here...

Hudson Valley Honor Flight (HVHF) recognizes American veterans for your sacrifices and achievements by flying you to Washington, D.C. to see YOUR memorials at no cost to you. Top priority is given to World War II, Korean War and terminally ill veterans from all wars.

HVHF is actively accepting applications from veterans of World War II and the Korean War primarily, as well as those who served in the time between these wars. Vietnam-era veterans are also invited to apply, however our focus currently is on serving all of the World War II and Korean War veterans first. Applications from all veterans will be kept on file and those selected to participate will be notified at the appropriate time.

For what you and your comrades have sacrificed, please consider this a small token of appreciation from all of us at Hudson Valley Honor Flight. It is truly a privilege to fly you to Washington, D.C. to visit and reflect at the memorials built in your honor.

If you know a World War II or Korean War veteran or a veteran with a terminal illness, please fill out an application and mail it in or submit an online application form here.

**Please note: While the application asks if you have a guardian that would like to accompany you on the trip, we do have many WILLING, EAGER guardians on our waiting list who would love the privilege of escorting one of our veterans. Providing your own guardian is NOT required. **

Effective May 7, 2025 a REAL ID will be required to fly within the United States. LEARN MORE
