Orange County Highway Superintendents Present Check to Hudson Valley Honor Flight

Last Thursday, October 19, 2023, at the Orange County Highway Superintendents Association (OCHSA) Fall Luncheon, under the leadership of OCHSA President Tom Gschwind from the Town of Cornwall; Hudson Valley Honor Flight (HVHF) was presented a check in the amount of $60,000.00.

These were the proceeds from our OCHSA Annual Golf Tournament that was held on July 11th at the Town of Wallkill Golf Club.

Accepting the check on behalf of Hudson Valley Honor Flight were: HVHF Executive Director Jennifer DeFrancesco, HVHF Vice Chairperson Carol Smith, HVHF Board Member Bill Sestrom and HVHF Board Member and Town of Wallkill DPW Commissioner Lou Ingrassia Jr.

The check presentation preceded HVHF Mission #31 which was on Saturday, October 21st, which saw 85 US military veteran heroes escorted to Washington DC to visit their memorials.
